Had to put up with 20-25 knot SE winds trying to blow me out of the channel, but I did beat the REALLY bad weather into Titusville where I got a slip at the marina. In the slip next to me was a wooden ketch named Zydeco I had seen and photographed back in South Carolina. So as it started to rain I killed a couple of bottles of wine with Beck and Ted, who remembered seeing me take the photo.

On The Move Again....

I had to escape from Velcro Beach. It's too easy to sit there for long periods of time. I just moved a short distance down the ICW, just to get moving again. I had dinner at my friends Rob and Heather's house. Great folks, great meal and back to the boat to move on.

Finally at Lake Worth. This is where I will wait for the weather favorable for the crossing to the Bahamas.

12/25 - Christmas at Lake Worth, with decorations of a different sort...

12/29 - I have decided to stay in Florida until I get back from my ski trip to Sutton, Canada. Mostly due to work considerations, but also to make my life simpler and enjoy the passage from Florida to Marsh Harbour more. If I crossed over prior to my ski trip scheduled for 1/7, I would have to rush to Marsh Harbour, find a place to leave the boat for a week and then find a flight to West Palm. - all of which is dependent on the weather. So I will stay here, get some work done and pick up my journey when I return from Canada.
